There are 5 teams in the running according to Schefter. Titans, Dolphins, Skins, Cardinals are the top.

Tony Dungy said Peyton is throwing fine but couldn't confirm any medical clearance.

Said he seems to have a lot of his arm strength back and Peyton told him he's ready for the opener.

I think the perfect fit for him is Miami.

Dolphins or Cardinals.

Do not want him to end up in Washington.

Miami would be a good spot.

Plus, Marino can get all pissed off and give the evil eye to his partners on CBS when one of them suggests manning is the best qb to ever play in Miami..

I could see Peyton going to Tennessee if they are willing to pay. The revenge games twice a year alone would be worth it. Here Luck, let me show you how it's done. Peyton should take that job for spite even though I want him in Miami.

That would be fun, but manning in Miami with Wayne I bet almost certainly means no playoffs for rexy and the jets....which is even more fun.

Yeah, but in Miami he can go toe to toe with Tom Brady twice a year.

This and the fact that he is worshiped like a deity in Tennessee.

My sources tell me Matt Flynn in Miami, not Manning.

It does make sense. Flynn already knows the system. The Dolphins would have to adapt to Peyton.

On the other hand Peyton will sell tickets.

I still say someone just put an algebra problem in front of him.

If I knew there was no way to get RG3 or that the price was too high I wouldn't be too mad if they signed him, but it can't be plan A.

Unless Washington is going to also get basically a whole new OL and alot of skill posiion help, I honestly dont see Manning making alot of difference there.

while watching this press conference with irsay and manning remember jim irsay is a guy who has so much money he has a large collection of guitars that belonged to well known artists he paid a million or more dollars a piece for....

you have a lot of cash when you can do that!!! So cash isnt the reason they are cutting ties....

buyer beware to the next team I guess.

This goes beyond the injury. It's a repeat of the Montana situation. They have a handful of years, at best, left with Peyton vs. the potential for 12-15 years from Luck/RGIII. The Colts are a shitshow. They're not gonna win a damn thing anytime soon with that team. Full rebuild mode.
