Ok- we have Black History month, Gay Pride whatever, Cinco de Mayo, Asian awareness but lets have a White History month or a White Awareness parade or a Heterosexual Awareness month or parade and suddenly we straight whities are prejudice and racist!!!!!!! I don't get it

I'm still not sure why it's necessary to have a month celebrating someone's sexuality.

Here's an idea: You be as gay as you want to be and I'll be as straight as I want to be, and we'll both leave that shit in the bedroom (or off of official time, anyway), mmkay?

For last year's LGBTVWTFBBQ Month, the GPO sent government offices rainbow stickers and posters that we could decorate our offices with. Your tax dollars have been hard at work celebrating penis and anus long before the pentagon got into the act.

I think pride months and stuff like that have more to do with making groups more accepted in the public. If after years of don't ask don't tell the pentagon opts to demonstrate the error of their ways by celebrating the people they've previously discriminated against I think that's a good thing.
