IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have not played a down of their 2014 schedule, so maybe it is a little early to look at the 2015 schedule.

If you don’t want to know, then click away. If you do, here goes:

In addition to the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins, the Cowboys will welcome the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Jets and an NFC West foe to AT&T Stadium in 2015.

The Cowboys non-division road games will be against the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and an NFC North foe.

The NFC West and NFC North foes will be determined by finish in the division.

This will likely be Tom Brady's one and only appearance in Arlington. The last time he visited was in 2007 when the Cowboys played at Texas Stadium. The Cowboys have to play an AFC foe on Thanksgiving in 2015, so could that be Brady and the Patriots? They played the Jets on Thanksgiving in 2007, winning, 34-3.

Can't really tell from year to year, but I was wondering who we played next year and finally googled it.

Don't like the idea of possibly playing the Patriots on Thanksgiving. Playing the NFC South should be easy pickings.

Will be at Detroit and home vs Arizona or San Francisco if we finish 2nd.
Will be at Green Bay and home vs Seattle if we take the division.

We won't play the Rams, Bears, or Vikings next year.

San Fran with a new coaching regime, or Arizona with a new QB (doubt Carson Palmer recovers ever).

Were definitely not finishing first in the division this year, which gets us out of going to Green Bay.

Talking about a game that counts.
There's just no heat in the "rivalry" and won't ever be. Few except in the major metro area around Houston give two shits about the team down there. It has no history, no past, has no pedigree. It might as well be the Houston Browns.

Such a annual "game that counts" would only benefit Houston. The preseason game is as good as it gets. "The Governor's Cup."

I'm not there but it seems like its a big deal to Houston. The rest of Texas doesn't seem to care.

Yeah, I don't really give a shit, and I have lived in Texas my whole life. Didn't really even give a shit when the Oilers were around.

And that's exactly 100 percent correct. As I said, FEW people outside the Houston metro area give a shit about the team down there. It has no history, no tradition, no past and no pedigree.

We don't see it because it doesn't exist.

It's the Houston Browns.

Houston loves their Texans. Its a passion that i wish more Cowboy fans had. I moved here a year ago from Victoria. Strong Texan fan base there too. I can only speak of what i have seen and experienced. Not sure what proof you have.

Just out of curiosity. Where do you live? Also, what do you mean by the Houston Browns? You do know the Browns have a rich history?

The current Browns do not. They are a manufactured, welfare team basically. All their history goes to the current Baltimore team. Not "officially" I don't suppose. But that's not why I call the Houston team the Browns. I call them that because just like the Browns, few really give two shits about them. And Houston just like Cleveland, is a shit city. Two shit cities with shit teams.

Few people outside the Houston metro give a shit about the team down there. It just is what it is. There's no "rivalry" between Dallas and Houston football wise, other than in the minds of the Houston fans. People in Dallas and most of Texas and in fact most of the country, don't give a shit about Houston.
