We have a lot of team players. Not a lot of selfish guys on our roster.

Just read a Hatcher article where he says that when he's healthy, he's not worried about if he's a starter or not. Murray made similar comments this week as well.

Neither Dez, Miles, or Witten complain about looks, despite all of them being legitimate #1 options.

Newman, Scandrick, Jenkins... none of them complain about playing time.

We don't seem to have any "me" guys.

It's refreshing.

I think that's a reflection on Jason Garrett and the team buying into his philosophies.

Good post. You're spot on about that. You definitely have to credit Garrett for that.

We haven't had players like that since T.O. and Ellis. Clearly a sign that JG has control of this team.

Choice seems very much a "me" guy, and Bennett to a degree.

Dez has his moments...he made a couple comments after the Pats game that sounded like he questioned Garrett and Romo.

I missed them. Please recap.

Basically said that they ran the same coverage in the first half of the game against the Pats as they did in the second. So he did not really understand why the ball was not coming his way. He's right, but no need to tell the press that.

I think the media were the ones that mentioned the ball wasn't coming his way.. they just kept asking questions about it, and one of them was like you said, if the coverages were different or anything.

All he said was "the coverages were the same", then he turned and asked a teammate if the coverages were the same, they said "yup" and he turned back and said "yup, coverages were the same". It was pretty funny actually haha. I don't think he said anything wrong or selfish there though.

I wonder if it's true that Jerry was offered a first rounder for Bennett. We probably wouldn't even be able to get a 6th for him now.

Absolutely no foresight on Jerry's part there. He wanted to stock up on pretty, shiny skill position players rather than build a solid all-around team. This isn't Madden. No doubt that a team run like the Pats would have turned some of our overrated talent like Bennett into a handful of first and second rounders.

The one time he did make a great draft move, freakin Derek Anderson decided to have his one and only good season and screw us out of Cleveland's perennial top-five pick. Awful luck.
