Just to clear it up for you guys, only two presidents were impeached by the House of Representatives but acquitted at the trials held by the Senate: Andrew Johnson (trial) and Bill Clinton (trial). The House Judiciary Committee voted on Articles of Impeachment for President Richard Nixon, but he resigned before the full House of Representatives could vote on any articles. Since the entire House did not vote, Nixon was never impeached.

Really?
Wow,thank you...I would have never imagined such thing.
Could it be that Nixon quit not because the wiretapping of a room in a hotel, but his use of the IRS to target his opponents?
Now Obama is wiretapping the entire nation, and using the IRS as a tool of oppression against his opposition.
I know...it's to keep us safe.

Enough you guys keep saying he was impeached. You've said he was impeached too. Apparently you did need my little history lesson. You're welcome.

Andrew Johnson didn't even take his impeachment seriously.... if I remember (reading) correctly, he wasn't going to abide by anything that came out of the proceedings anyway.

I said there were articles for his impeachment, not that he was actually impeached.
