IRVING, Texas -- For the second straight year, Bill Leavy will work a Dallas Cowboys-Washington Redskins game with him serving as the referee for Sunday’s game at FedEx Field.

He called the Thanksgiving Day game at AT&T Stadium in 2011, which the Redskins won 38-31. The Cowboys were penalized seven times for 45 yards and the Redskins had five penalties for 41 yards. There were seven false-start penalties in the game.

Leavy also worked Jason Garrett’s first game as Cowboys head coach on Nov. 14, 2010, a 33-20 win against the New York Giants. The Cowboys were penalized five times for 60 yards.

Leavy worked the Giants-Seattle Seahawks game last week with 14 total penalties, of which 13 were accepted. Seattle was flagged eight times for 50 yards and the Giants had five penalties for 38 yards.
