The good news for the Packers: They have a normal week to try to get healthy before Sunday night’s game, while most of the league plays Saturday.

The bad news: An extra day isn’t going to solve their injury problems.

The Packers are expected to roll with the same offensive line that finished out their game against the Chiefs, according to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. That group gave up three sacks in the final nine minutes.

Starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga is considered unlikely to play this week because of a knee sprain. Reserve tackle Derrok Sherrod is out for the season. Chad Clifton will try to do individual drills this week, but he’s struggling with a back problem in addition to his hamstring injury. Clifton hasn’t played since Week 5 and appears to be aiming to return next week at earliest.

Sherrod is facing a long recovery. Demovsky reports he broke bones in his right tibia and fibula. He’s expected to remain in Kansas City all week.

So the Packers have one true tackle — Marshall Newhouse — for this week. Newhouse has struggled against top pass rushers. The Packers will have to sign someone this week, but guard T.J. Lang will play at right tackle.

Green Bay still hasn’t clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Their other goal for the next two weeks: Keep Aaron Rodgers healthy.

there the packers.

remember last year, they dont need starters.

its the magic in the green packers jersey, not the actual player.

this team is owned by the fans and plays in a small town you know.
