The loss of Dez Bryant presents opportunity for Kevin Ogletree and Sam Hurd.
Among those three, Ogletree will probably get the majority of snaps at receiver. He was impressive at times last season, at receiver and on kick returns, but has been a non-factor since Bryant's arrival.
``It's a nice opportunity for Kevin Ogletree to get back into the mix a little bit,'' interim coach Jason Garrett said. ``Sam Hurd's contributions go far beyond what he does on offense. He's such a great special teams player and has been for us for a few years now, and he's proven he can go into games at receiver and be productive.
``Kevin will get more in the mix now. Kevin's played better on special teams. He did a nice job yesterday and he'll have an opportunity to continue to grow as a receiver.''
Hurd plans to make the most of this chance.
``You've just got to be prepared,'' Hurd said. ``My first goal when I came to the NFL was to be a wide receiver; it was never to be a special teams captain. I'm going to do my best at wide receiver. I don't prepare differently. Every day, every challenge is the same _ beat the guy in front of you and feel great at the end of the day.''
