If the colts win this game it looks as though the NFC is wide-open after the packers brilliance..

losing to Detroit could be huge down the road, or looking at there late schedule might not matter....

Either way, bad day for romo and all when we get healthy we are right in this..

NFC North and NFC South will eat up the wild cards. Falcons, Saints, Bucs, Lions, Packers, and even Bears. Four of those teams will be in the playoffs.

Our best bet is to win the division - which I'd say we have a very good shot at doing.

Redskins are 3-1... but is anyone buying them? They've played three bad teams, and barely beat them. They lost to us after we commited more mistakes than parkinsons patient playing freeze tag.

Giants are 3-1... but they're still injured all to shit. Plus I hate them.

Eagles are 1-3... but have a lot of individual talent. I still think they'll either boom or bust. If they lose to Buffalo this week, things could get really, really ugly.

You would think we could. But at the rate we're going I doubt 8-8 gets it done.

Aside from always tough divisional games... do you look at anyone on our schedule other than New England and get nervous?

I mean, we've lost games by self-destructing. I really don't think a Garrett/Ryan coached team will continue to do that throughout the season.

True, but what about a Romo QB'd team?

Packers and Saints are clearly the class of the NFC. I am kind of buying the Skins because of their defense and they have really limited mistakes.

lol

I'm totally stealing that. And I'm not going to give you any credit.

No fair.

The Skins defense and run game is 2legit2quit, but I just can't buy them yet. I need to see them play some better opponents before I buy into that squad. As is, I think they're taking advantage of an easy early schedule, but will ultimately falter to a 8-8 record down the stretch.

I'd argue that they are winning the games they are supposed to. That Giants win looks much better now, but yeah...they are not elite, but I trust them more than the Bears or Falcons right now.

They are, but uglyly. A good team puts bad teams away. Washington barely beat a bad Arizona team coming from the west coast and playing a 1pm game (WC teams playing 1pm EC games rarely do well).

The Rams win would've been impressive, except the Rams have no receivers to speak of. Literally. Their best receiver is Danny Amendola and he's out with injury. That, and their defense is in shambles. Still, it was only a one possession game.

The Giants win was impressive I guess. A little less impressive considering all the Giants injuries.

That said, I'm more afraid of the Giants than I am the Redskins. And I think ultimately, injuries notwithstanding, the Giants will give us more trouble for the division title than will the Redskins.

Falcons are weird. At home, they're elite. On the road, they're meh.

The Falcons kind of got arrogant before they should have gotten arrogant. They did bring in Edwards on the DL, but in their effort to keep up with GB offensively, they dealt a shit ton of picks to get Jones, forgetting about the holes on defense.

Yeah, I didn't like that move. And I don't think Edwards is as good of a pass rusher as he was made out to be in the off season.

Jones is a beast though. I think the Falcons have the best WR tandem in the NFL already.

They played two bad teams. The Giants are not a bad team. The Redskins beat a Giants' team that had more starters out than the Cowboys, I believe the Giants had 5 starters missing, including Tuck and Osi, and the Redskins still barely beat them.

Not really on their run game. Before they played us, they averaged 3.2 ypc and 1 TD I believe. And Torrain... call it fresh legs. Doubtful it will last.

Ray Edwards is nobody special.

No, but you seemed to infer it.

LOL...ok, I said they added him, but seemed more focus on their offense...so I am inferring that they should have done more than add Edwards. You know, the part where it said they had holes on their defense. You can infer that I am calling you an idiot now.
