Go back a few posts to find David Moore's summary of the changes that have taken place on the Dallas Cowboys' coaching staff in the off-season. The entire staff will be formally introduced this afternoon.

Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is the biggest ``name'' of the additions, but wide receivers coach Jimmy Robinson is also a noteworthy addition. Robinson, who also carries the title of assistant head coach, joined the Cowboys from Green Bay.

Robinson, a demanding coach, specialzes in developing young receivers. During his five years with Green Bay, the Packers drafted six receivers. Only one, Cory Rodgers of TCU, has not played in the NFL.

The Cowboys took three receivers in that span, and all have played in the NFL: Dez Bryant, Manny Jonhnson and Skyler Green. Bryant had 45 catches for 1,040 yards and seven touchdowns last season. The other two have four catches for 40 yards and no touchdowns.

The receivers Robinson developed with Green Bay have far more productive. David Clowney, Greg Jennings,James Jones, Jordy Nelson and Brett Swain have combined for 599 catches for 9,072 yards and 60 touchdowns. Only Clowney is no longer with the Packers.

Look for Dez Bryant, the Cowboys' first-round pick in last year's draft, to get the same attention from Robinson as Jennkings and the others did during their progression.

They might have had more production out of DRAFTED receivers, but we relied on Owens, Williams, and Undrafted free agent receivers (Austin, and to a far lesser extend, Hurd)

So the stats comparison doesn't mean much to me.

Obviously he's got Bryant's stats wrong.

Yeah, he gave him more than double the yards he had and 1 more TD.

45/561/6.

He'd be a lot closer if he was talking total yardage adding in special teams.

No matter what he failed.
