Cowboys beat writer David Moore answered your questions in a chat Monday. Here are some highlights.

What are the chances for Ratliff moving to end?

It's difficult to put any odds on that happening at this stage. We still haven't had a chance to talk to Rob Ryan and get his thoughts. But this topic continues to come up because, while very effective at nose tackle, is physically small for the position. There is a belief his quickness and size could create even more havoc if he was used at end where he would have a litlte more space to operate.

We've seen a lot of opinions on the Cowboys' pick at No. 9. Who do you think the Cowboys should and will take?

I think it's early to make that projection with any sort of certainty. The clubs haven't even attended the scouting combine yet, which takes place later this month.

But from what I've seen, it appears that there will be some talented cornerbacks on the board at No. 9. That seems like the best bet at the moment. Nebraska's Prince Amukamara is as good as any name to pencil in at the moment.

The key word here being pencil. Like I said, this will change.

What do you make of Jason Garrett's recent staff acquisitions?

You know, we talk about head coaches, coordinators and assistants all the time and how they set the tone for the team. Well, you can argue no one person sets the tone more than the strength and conditioning coach.

Woicik is an outstanding hire and a signal there will be a different level of accountability.

New England has balls.

They don't care if they lose a coach or a few players, they can replace them.

I'll just throw this theory out there.....

New England knows he's a washed up bum and they're laughing at us as we speak.

His contract was up, and he was free to go anywhere. They didnt "let him go", he chose to leave.

Well....they could have made a point to not let him get to the end of his contract.

And maybe they did. We don't know the story but it's a valid question to ask.

I think its typical for assistants to let their contracts expire before signing new one's, unlike head coaches or players that a franchise knows it wants to keep who typically do sign extensions before their deals run out. Its the only time they have leverage to get a better deal, and its also the only time they can look elsewhere.

Maybe Woicik was ready for a change again. Maybe he didnt like Belichick anymore, or maybe he just really loved working for the Cowboys and liked Garrett. I'm sure Jones gave him a nice raise too.

I dont care what the reason was, just glad he is back. He is definitely one of the best, if not the best trainer in the league.

I've heard that New England was going to make him the highest paid S&C in NFL world history, but he was all like "Whatev, going to Dallas."

We are the Cowboys, afterall.
