Seems like there will be lots of movement. The dockery signing is strange. It must just be he fits and is cheap enough to be a good vet backup. Cheaper than holland or gurode.

Claiming a fb who looks like he will go to ir is interesting also.

Really curious if young and Parnell stick on the roster if we claim a linebacker or corner.

So we claim a player just to put him on I.R.?

What kind of sense does that make?

Not sure he is going to ir, just speculating on that..and if he is there is nothing wrong with that, stashing an injured player is not a bad move...

Now signing dockery after he is not even in a camp all summer and was benched basially all last year is a head scratched. The only thing i can imagine is because he lives in the area the team talked to him at some point and told him to stay in shape for this week for a workout. He is probably the only vet that would agree to being a backup. There is no way Brian waters would backup Nagy.

Dockery had that one good year back in what... 2007?

Isn't he a fatty, which is kind of what we've been getting away from?

That's a steep fall in a matter of a few weeks. From proposed starter to out the door with yesterday's trash.

They have known this guy was a liability from the start. Named the starter by default after the hammer dropped on the right side of the line. Covered it up with smoke screens about how confident the franchise was in him and what a good dependable player he was.

Arkin and Nagy have panned out better than what the team had initially envisioned which definitely led to this. But why play the roulette game for this long when Dockery has been sitting out there the whole time not to mention Waters who personally if healthy would be manning the RG spot for 1-2 years before turning the reins over to the youngsters.

Shouldn't we have signed Dockery with at least 1-2 preseason games left to go to see him in game action after last years knee injury and see what he still has left in the tank?

DMN says he practiced today. He says he will pick up the offense pretty quick.
