Halfway point. We are 3-5 so we'd be drafting 12th if the season ended today.
1 - Chance Warmack, G, 6-2/322 Alabama- The Cowboys get serious and realize protecting Romo is the key. 12th may seem high for a Guard but the Cowboys couldn't go another day with Mackenzy Bernadeau as a projected starter.
2 - Corey Lemonier, OLB, 6-3/242 Auburn - I have a feeling the Cowboys will try to sign Spencer to a long-term deal. Lemonier will spell him on passing downs and be the pass rusher Victor Butler was supposed to be.
3 - Khaled Holmes, C, 6-3/305 USC - Too good of value to pass up in the 3rd. Unlike the Cowboys centers, he plays through injury.
4 - Ray Graham, RB, 5-9/192, Pittsburgh - Tough, little workhorse will make a nice compliment to DeMarco Murray. Pitt has produced some nice RB's the last few years.
5 - Brandon Williams, DT, 6-2/328 Missouri Southern State- Small school star. Big kid with good quickness will add some bulk (and youth) to the Cowboys defensive line.
6 - Kyle Long, G/T, 6-7/311, Oregon - Yes he's one of those Long's. The son of Howie and younger brother of Rams star Chris, Kyle started out playing baseball and is still raw. He will only play this one year at Oregon but has already seen more playing time at both guards spot and right tackle. Cowboys clearly recognize that their offensive line needs help by drafting 3 linemen this draft.
**BONUS MATERIAL**
Free Agency
Cowboys re-sign Anthony Spencer OLB to a 5-year deal.
Cowboys sign Jairus Byrd FS (Buffalo Bills) to a 5-year deal.
Cowboys sign Henry Melton DE (Chicago Bears) to a 4-year deal.
Cowboys sign Greg Toler CB (Arizona Cardinals) to a 1-year deal.
Cowboys let Victor Butler, Mike Jenkins, Felix Jones, Kenyon Coleman, and Kevin Ogletree walk.
