The staff cut the kid only to see Baltimore do the same before picking him back up.

Two weeks in a row he sparks the team with a big score. Can this guy really be one of those playmakers that you have to have on your team? His return skills are evident after watching the piss poor results on kick returns all year by others not named Dez Bryant.

Hopefully he can find his self in on defense more and more.

Yeah, you have to be a little disgusted with the evaluators on this team to let him go in the first place.

Then again, Baltimore has a personnel guru leading the way and they let him go too.

At the least he's a good return guy. I'm not going to overreact to one interception for a score. Maybe he can be a factor in the nickel down the road.

I just realized how much I pwned you in this thread, Sheik.

That was unintentional.

IMO the best that can come of McCann turning into something is getting Dez Bryant the hell off special teams.

I cringe every time he's on the field returning kicks.

Intelligent, heads up play two weeks in a row that lead to game changing plays.

I love the kid.

I liked him all along, and was pissed when we had cut him the first time.

I think he is here to stay.

The decision to go with only 3 CBs on the roster was the stupidest decision any team has made in quite awhile. Good thing Baltimore fucked up worse.

Yeah, I would of at least went with four to five corners.

I think McCann is just lucky when it comes to the long returns. Props on the INT for sure, but the return was just pure speed down the sideline. On the punt return, he caught the Lions off guard with 3/4 of the Lions already thinking play over and running into the end zone.

Not criticizing the kid, just not hailing him the next Ed Reed or Deion. Right time, right place, right speed.

I like the kid, but I want to see what he does the rest of the season.

I'm pulling for him and think he has what it takes to start in this league.

He's at least a good special teams player for us right now. I want to see more reps in the secondary though maybe in Newmans spot until he's 100%.

I do believe he can start in the nickel packages already for us, but Scandrick must be worried McCann might take his job and has been playing well.
