McBriar to IR, Cowboys add P Jones, QB Griesen

McBriar to IR today, they signed Chris Jones again to the active roster. They also cut OL Loper again, and signed 3rd QB Chris Griesen to the active roster. Griesen will be active per DMN.

McBriar probably should have been IR'd weeks ago, but the Griesen moves worries me a little. If Romo were definitely 100% and everything was good, there's really be no need for a 3rd QB.

Not that worried about McBriar. Because of the injury he hasn't been as good as normal this year. Of course, as I say this, watch as Jones shanks some today.

I'm more worried about how Bailey adjusts to a new holder.

Might be done here anyway. He's a free agent after the season. If Jones has another good day today (as he did the other game he as active) they might decide to keep Jones and the much lower salary in lieu of McBriar.

Might just be a precaution. I know if Romo had to leave the game I'd be worried at the thought of NY bringing the farm after Mcgee with no third option left.
