Was anyone watching NFL Network when Michael Lombardi said we should make Barber Inactive ?

I hope or think he was joking..

It's one thing to say that maybe he shouldn't be starting, but that is outright foolish to suggest that he should be made inactive. Lombardi be coming out of left field alot of times.

Barber should get maybe 5 carries a game.

Jones and Choice are both better backs at this point in their respective careers.

BULLSHIT. Jones may be, but hell no with Choice. I'd make him inactive before Barber.

Choice is the better back.

He's better as a receiver, runner, and blocker.

Barber is living off his 2006-2007 seasons, and his hefty contract.

Choice isn't a better blocker. Nor, IMO a better RB.

But, with that said. Hopefully one of these days, the coaches pull their heads outta their asses and pick one, then to proceed to run that RB to the ground. then grab another.

Shit, wipe, flush. Yes Dallas coaches, it is THAT EASY.

Seriously, I would start Felix and then let Barber and Choice fight for the back up role. Then trade the other, Belichick logic.

Don't we have Lonyae Miller on the practice squad too?

I wouldn't be against it. At least it would force them to play the other two guys. Which was probably his point.

First, this offensive line would make any back look bad. They are shat. All five of them.

Having said that, I think Barber's lost a step. He certainly isn't as good as Felix Jones. Not on his best day, in his prime. And I think Choice is probably better too.

I didn't want to resign him. I wouldn't sign any veteran RB to a big deal unless they are the best of the best. It's too easy to find them and their careers are too short.

Especially when the league is thinking about adding two more regular season games.

The running backs careers will get even shorter.

With our O-line,it's painfully obvious any two back set must include the FB.Barring the occasional FB dive or wheel route, that means the HB gets the ball.

If Jones is to thrive,he's got to have his plays. Not the Genius' plays with Jones shoehorned in.Plays for Jones.

Counters,Jones in the slot, the Wing T for cryin out loud.

This kid is a half step away from embarrassing defenses every time he gets a touch.

If that means Barber rides the pine, well he's handsomely paid for it.
