Bears’ Martellus Bennett suspended indefinitely after fight

Chicago Bears General Manager Phil Emery announced Tuesday that TE Martellus Bennett has been suspended indefinitely following a scuffle at Bears training camp.

On Monday, Bennett took an issue with a tackle by rookie Kyle Fuller, prompting the fight. As a result, Marc Trestman ended practice early.

There’s no time table for when Bennett will return. He was also fined an undisclosed amount.

I had heard they didnt like how lazy he practiced. Usually had to wait for him to walk back to the huddle. Probably just fed up with his act.

You look at his brother, they have some physical ability in the family. Guy just doesnt have the same passion for the game.
