0 | Comment Offensive tackle Zack Martin and nose tackle Louis Nix will return to Notre Dame for the 2013 season, Irish head coach Brian Kelly announced Monday.
Martin, a 6-4, 305-pound redshirt junior, is the No. 7-rated offensive tackle for the 2014 NFL Draft, according to early ratings by NFLDraftScout.com. He has started 38 consecutive games at left tackle for the Irish.
Nix is a redshirt sophomore who has started 21 games over the past two seasons and has 45 tackles, 5.5 for loss and a pair of sacks in 2012. He has two years of eligibility remaining and is currently the No. 2-rated interior defensive lineman for 2015.
Kelly said redshirt junior running back Cierre Wood has yet to make a decision on whether he will enter the '13 draft. This year's running back class isn't deep in elite talent, but Wood is currently rated as a fringe draft pick and likely a priority free agent.
