The Dallas Cowboys will have three starters back at practice on Tuesday: end Marcus Spears , inside linebacker Keith Brooking and strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh. They have missed a combined six exhibition games because of injuries.

In addition, coach Wade Phillips confirmed rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant will practice for the first time since July 30. Bryant has been out because of a high ankle sprain

I will never again say we won't miss Marcus Spears.

His absence was definitely noticed. Just look back at the games in which he didn't play, teams ran all over us.

We need to resign him or we are in trouble. I thought for sure when he went out hurt we would of done well with the backups. I was wrong.

He's definitely key to our run defense.

Jerry needs to re-sign him, and he can do it without breaking the bank. Spears wants to be here even after all that went down, with both Bowen and Hatcher getting higher tenders. In addition, he's a backup NT. Iguarantee you, that when the Redskins let Haynesworth walk after this season, they will go after Spears.

I wasn't a Marcus Spears fan until now. I think getting injured just landed him a new deal.

You could be onto something there. Let's hope it doesn't happen. I'd hate to see him in a Redskins uniform.

Hatcher hasn't done much here at all. He's had a handful of good plays but that's it. I hear he has 5 kids. From what I've seen he's just been happy to be the #3 guy.

Yeah, anyone who is on the outside looking in, it's Hatcher.
