Marc Colombo will not practice today as the Cowboys begin their biggest day of installing the game plan for Sunday's contest at Washington at TCU's indoor facility.
Colombo had knee surgery on Aug. 16 to remove loose bodies and there was optimism that he would be able to make it back for the season opener. Wade Phillips said Monday that Colombo would have to practice this week in order to play against the Redskins.
Colombo has two more days to get ready but if he can't go, then Alex Barron would make the start at right tackle. Robert Brewster, who did not play as a rookie last year, would be the extra tackle on Sunday.
UPDATE: Kyle Kosier is also not practicing. It's looking more and more like Montrae Holland will start at left guard with Barron at right tackle.
