I am curious why do you spend so much time on the internet on cowboys message boards? There doesnt seem to be a single thing about the team you like, you predict them to lose every week and you hate the owner...
is it just for the shits and giggles with the zone back and forth?

This team is so helter skelter, its hard to know what to expect. Nobody is expecting us to win, which means we probably will.
And I do think if we get in, we'll beat either Detroit or Atlanta. Of the two, I'd prefer Atlanta because their defense is so awful and their OL isnt more than average.

a rematch with detroit would be too good to be true.
if we could knock out the giants and get a small bit of revenge for the 07 playoff game and then get a chance to make up for the detroit second half fiasco...oh what a great couple of weeks we would have.
I am with you though, i would love atlanta. I think we actually would get to ryan and there defense is the kind we score tons of points on ...4-3, no dominant pass rusher.....average secondary.....We would get into the 30s at home on them.

As for predictions, no I haven't predicted them to lose every week. I thought they would lose last week and they did. I also happen to think they lose this week since they rarely seem to be able to win meaningful late season games. But I did think they would beat the Bucs a few weeks ago and thought they would beat AZ two weeks before that and thought they had a good chance vs. the Giants the last go around.
I guess in your minds, in order to be a fan who posts on messageboards we all have to predict us to win every week and love the owner despite the fact he's the main reason we have struggled the last 15 years? If so there is a board for that I hear.

no one questioned your fanhood. I am simply trying to understand if you dislike everything so much about the team why in the world would you keep coming back to a message board about them.
it would be like if I signed up to a green day message board and bitched everyday that van halen is better and how green day sucks.

I have a feeling we beat NYG, and it's not really that close.
Something about the way the Giants keep talking.. it's like they're trying to psych themselves up. And I like our match ups against both Atlanta and Detroit.

it probably doesnt mean anything, but in the past when we have been quiet and they have made bold statements...like you know shutting us out.....we have played well.
this is a different situation with it being a playoff game but still I like that everyone in interviews have been saying the same things......like you know, somone told them to be quiet....
Today will be the day we get a boneheaded comment from one of our players or one of theres.
considering rolle, jacobs and kiawunuka have already said stuff this year...i hope its them again.

This team is too inconsistent to rely on in the playoffs. This team won't see aother Super Bowl for a while.

I think the offensive line gets run over. I have no faith in that group. I do think the defense will keep it a game and it will come down to a field goal. I also decided to take a negative approach to this game. I think it will help me cope with another failed season as the Steelers and Greenbay make a bid for another trophy.

Assuming Romo is good to go and not bothered by the hand much, this game will be the first real gauge of what kind of staff we have. They need to make alot of good adjustments to counter everything that went wrong defensively 3 weeks ago, and its a huge game with everyhting on the line to get into the playoffs, and its on the road.
Now if Romo is really hindered by the hand, not much we can do.

As a Cowboys fan I never root for my team to lose regardless of circumstances. Hope they make it and are the surprise of the playoffs but the way this season has unfolded my confidence level is near extinction. Recently this type of meaningful high profile game are the ones this team usually comes up flat or finds a way to lose.
I could easily see the game getting out of hand in the Giants favor late or another mind blowing last minute meltdown. Either way Giants win.

Even Mickey Spagnola picked us to lose this week. I'm pretty sure he picked us to win the other 15 games.
I hate him and wished he would be fired yesterday but he's a mindless kiss ass, so when he predicts we are going to lose, it may be time to start worrying.
Also, I love the homer mentality. Love the team completely or you are not a real fan. Thanks for telling me how to root for my team.
