Lions vs Cowboys PREDICTIONS

I can't go against Romo after the last two weeks. Fat Rob has the defense playing with swagger for the first time since the mid 90's. Romo makes some plays, D steps up.

This game is hard for me. The injuries have me thinking this game is close. If we are healthy this is the kind of game we win easily IMO because Detroit is high on themselves and we are ready to bust out after 3 close games.

I just have a feeling this will be another close, nailbiting, me cussing at the TV, game. The match-up's that I do not like are Suh and Fairley vs Costa and Nagy AND Calvin Johnson vs our secondary.

I am also worried about the OL vs their DL. I sussspect we will see a lot of quick passes and screens again.

Now if the line plays lights out and holds up we when by a late TD.

One positive is the Lions O-line is not a strong suit of that team. Their vulnerable. The Vikings D-Line was getting to Stafford quite a bit in that game and planting him. Hopefully we can do that as well and do it early and often.

FWIW......A beat writer for the Lions was on ESPN yesterday giving his rundown of the team and making it sound like Fairley was extremely doubtful for this week saying most likely his first action of the season would be the following week.

Have to do better in the redzone and if Austin is out again I like our chances less.............. Lions 24 - 16.

Romo has tthe most problems with the pass rush when it comes up the middle. Coincidentally that's our weaker point and that's their strength -imo. So yes they will have to play better, skins pressure came from orakpo and kerrigan.

Wrong. The Redskins sent pressure from all over because they blitzed on nearly every play.

Hopefully that stays the same. Different year, different Lions team. This isn't a 2-8 Lions team QB'd by Shaun Hill the last time we played.

Kudos to our trio of CB's if they limit his touches and make him a limited factor in the game. It's a prediction but I think he has a big game. If he doesn't, I'll be glad that I was wrong because most likely that will enhance this teams chances to pull out a W.

detroit is the better healthier team right now. they should win. So should the redskins monday night though.

I love how this is shaping up, by friday the detroit media and fans will be expecting Dallas to just waive the white flag or something because they think they are the mightiest group on the planet.

I would love to be a dallas coach this week, no one thinks we will win.....easy to motivate a team at home.

if we play great special teams again and win the time of possesion and field position we will be ok.

I dont care who there qb or wr's are and they are good, but if they are on the road and backed up inside the 20 on 3rd downs we will be in good shape.

and IMO, this is the worst group of Offensive Tackles we will have played yet and maybe the poorest line we will see until the rams game. They just dont look that great. So if we have them backed up I doubt they are just going to be wide open slinging it, wont matter if you cant protect.
