Good decision making, good pocket presence, good mechanics and footwork - he looks like a pocket passer type but he can also run.

With more practice work with the 1st team offense I think he can improve further.

Thoughts?

I didn't see Bridgewater, but I did see Blake Bortles and he looked very capable and sharp.

Too bad for Bortles that he doesn't have much of a supporting cast. He's in a challenging situation.

Yes I should have mentioned Bortles as well. Wasn't at all out of his element and looks sharp too. Looks to be a good acquisition for Jacksonville.

I'm looking forward to watching the Vikes on the condensed replay on NFLN tonight. Listened to that game on the radio yesterday and was pretty pumped for my man Zim. No starting QB, no Peterson, and still playing that well.

Though I have to say, as someone who didn't watch Bridgewater at Louisville, I wasn't that impressed with what I saw last week. But it was his first week.

Bortles I think is going to be really good. Like ZC said, he just needs a team around him.

I think they have a good find in Bridgewater. He's got everything RG Pee lacks, starting with a brain.

It doesn't matter who it is against - either these guys have good habits or they don't. These are habits of long standing as well, very difficult to change. Bridgewater has those good habits.

Its the Falcons
You're talking stats and numbers, results, I am talking fundamentals. Bridgewater could have thrown four picks and had otherwise dismal numbers, but it wouldn't be because of his mechanics or footwork, or his fundamental habits.

It does not matter the opponent, the stats or the results, those habits are ingrained and aren't easily changed. You either have it or you don't. He has it.
