Left guard Kyle Kosier credits Cowboys' trainers for timely return

IRVING – When Kyle Kosier tore the medial collateral ligament in his right knee on Aug. 18, he was given a four- to six-week timetable to return with six weeks being more likely.
Kosier will man his left guard spot Sunday against Chicago, returning a little sooner than expected.
"The doctors made it sound like that," Kosier said. "They said there would be a real long rehab with pain, and honestly the trainers did a great job of getting me back out there."
Kosier is wearing a brace on the outside of his right knee, which is also heavily taped.
With right tackle Marc Colombo also ready to play after missing the opener with a knee injury, the Cowboys' offensive line is whole again, although Wade Phillips said he would mix in backups Montrae Holland and Alex Barron some.
As they recovered, Colombo and Kosier pushed each other through rehab.
"We kind of got on one another," Kosier said. "He would say something and I'd get back at him. He'd do something and make me mad. Like two old women."
