Just reported by Michael Lombardi on NFL Network.
I don't think it's that critical that he is.
I'm sure I'm undervaluing the Titans, but I think they are beatable with Holland in the lineup.
I look at the Titans and they live off of turnovers and the running game. I have confidence that this defense can contain the run.
Right, we won't shut CJ down completely, but keeping him under a 100 yards would be a great advantage.
The guy is an amazing runner.
Agreed, CJ is the biggest threat at RB I think in the NFL. Gonna take a lot to keep him contained. I think Dallas can. If Dallas can get their offense in order, keep up the scoring, possibly turning it into a shoot out type of deal. I like Dallas's chances. If this is one of those knock em out, last play wins game. Dallas is done.
That's what I'm looking for, not a smash mouth running game against the Titans, because we are out matched with Chris Johnson.
We have good backs, but none of them compare to CJ.
I'd love to see Felix Jones get 25 carries in a game and see what kind of numbers he could generate.

We are out matched playing smash mouth football because they have Chris Johnson?

Yeah, My money is on Chris Johnson and Javon Ringer.
If our team can show us that they can run the football more effectively , then I would say our group of backs.
You are missing the point. Johnson is not a smashmouth runner.
No . . . he isn't.
But you don't need to have a bullish back to run smashmouth football. A heavy offensive line, multiple tight ends and physical receivers continually attacking the defense, as opposed to droping back in pass protection or running routes, is smashmouth football.
