On how players handle personal issues within the team: We say all the time that (the team) is your extended family inside that locker room. That doesn't mean that everyone is best friends in that locker room, because that's not the case. But I think you're there as a support staff when something tragic happens, like what happened with Jay (Ratliff), and you're there for him in any way that he needs you and you let him know that. And everyone in our locker room let him know that.

On facing Tennessee: We've studied Tennessee now for over a week, because we had our bye and we've broken down a lot of their games. What really sticks out is how good they are at the run game, not just Chris Johnson and the talent he has, because he can take it the distance on any given play, but they have a lot of different variations in their runs as far as run plays. They do a lot of different stuff. They run the quarterback-read, they have a couple different variations of the option that they run every week. They do zone blocking, they run counters, they have the option and the QB read, a lot of different looks. When you're playing against a guy like Chris Johnson, you've got to play responsibility defense.
