SportsDay columnist Jean-Jacques Taylor was interviewed on 1310 The Ticket on Thursday to discuss the Dallas Cowboys and the lockout. Here are some highlights:

Several Cowboys met with new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan after the union decertified and Jerry Jones has to pay a fine for it. But, if you’re Jerry Jones, shouldn’t you be happy to pay this fine?

Yea, and I think there still some clarification over what they were actually fined for – whether it was that meeting or whether it was that last meeting Jason Garrett called to say, “Here is what we’re going to do this offseason if there isn’t a strike, if there isn’t a lockout.” Bottom line, any information you disseminate to the players that the other team didn’t, that’s a fine worth having if you’re Jerry Jones.

If there is a team in this league that is not cheating in this regard right now, shouldn’t their fans be upset?

It’s almost sounding like college football: if you’re not cheating, it’s because you’re not trying. It’s how much you were cheating and did you get caught cheating? I guess as a Buckeye I shouldn’t raise that as an issue right now.
