Initial reaction to the Cowboys' firing of Coach Wade: ADT. About. Damn. Time.

Initial reaction to promoting Jason Garrett to replace him: Love it. Not just love it, really love it.
I realize this puts me in the minority. Most Cowboys followers hate JG.
He does not exactly have an active fan club in the locker room either, as a good many players feel that he and a few select players have been given a free pass from criticism.
Love him or hate him, with Garrett, the Cowboys at least have a chance.
The Cowboys had quit on Wade, or at least a good many of them had.
This team was wasting time, playing for nothing and embarrassing themselves and their owner in the process.
Coach Wade had to go. A different voice had to be tried.
And it was not too long ago that there was no hotter young coaching candidate than The Redheaded Genius, as I like to call him.
Guys like him do not get stupid, despite what the play-calling sometimes suggests. What The RHG will bring is discipline, and honesty, and hopefully a willingness to hold players accountable.
So mark me down as loving this move.
The only drawback is, they did not do it sooner.
