Jerry should STFU. Romo's too nice to respond but I'd love him to tell Jerry to shut up and go get some guards who can keep people out of his face.

Also great observation Jerry. Eli over Romo is the difference. Nothing to do with their superior pass rush or a much better secondary. Better overall O Line. Deeper WR group.

This is our General Manager.

Even if he wasn't just plain wrong in thinking that Eli is better, and stupid for saying it, how on earth can you think that is the BIGGEST difference between the two squads?

So the one player he lucked into, who carries this sorry team, he throws under the bus?

This a fucking bummer of a franchise

Yup.

I hope Watkins is distorting the statement but something tells me he's not. Something tells me that Jerry has been listening to the talking heads talk about how Romo can't win in December and Eli can and he's sitting back and going "ya know what you're right".

Yeah need full quote in context before making a judgment. Watkins is a lying douche.

Like Pep, it's not something I'm going to worry too much about until I see the whole context.

But.

If Jerry looks at the two teams and sees that the biggest difference is Eli plays for the Giants, well, he's an even bigger fucking ****** than I already thought he was.

Yep, if Jerry said something like that, it's just more evidence he shouldn't be running this team.

That troll is at it again but Jerrah is so stupid he left himself vulnerable to interpretation by a 3rd rate hack job looking to spark some BS from the Giants/Eli's rise...

The biggest difference between the 2 organizations is the front office plain and simple you lip smacking fool.

I'm gonna need to see the full quote as well but when is Jerry gonna learn to keep his fuckin' mouth shut?

Maybe I'm having a homer moment but I'm taking Romo over Eli every time... and I think Eli is a verrry good QB.

If you're Romo, how do you even respond to some shit like this??

Jerry Jones said the biggest difference between the cowboys and giants is Eli Manning. He did praise Tony Romo

"Their quarterback play, as a team they got better and better near the end," Jones said. "That's obvious. We didn't. We had counted on getting better and we didn't. We went the other way. It was a complete team effort on their part and we didn't play well enough to compete. And I don't know if we had been competing, if we had gotten into the playoffs, to the level the Giants are. I'm giving them their credit, and they deserve it.

"I thought Romo was competing at a level that would've given us that opportunity but the rest of us need to play better and get better before we can really jell the way the Giants are."
Same difference.

Jerry's got no idea wtf he's talking about. Eli is good, but Romo has been doing more with less for a couple years now thanks to his GM's failures.

I don’t need a full quote to know Jerry is a fucking idiot. Just like Kyle Williams, i hope Jerry and his entire family die. Just kidding before the DEA is on my ass for making terrorist threats.

Just cuz the DEA keeps coming to your house and confiscating your plants doesn't mean they control all law violations haha. You crazy Mexicans and your peyote.

Miles Austin, Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Felix Jones, MBIII (when he was good), TO and Terry Glenn are not garbage. Thats alot of talented players he has worked with. And while we can look at the OL's shortcomings the past couple seasons, prior to that it was pretty good for Romo.

I didnt really agree with Jones's statement, but for whatever reason Manning has performed better in the postseason it seems than Romo has.

Yep no doubt.

There is no doubt we are screwed and no doubt why.

One of his dumbest comments ever.

It would be awesome if someone in the organization now or Before took the gloves off regarding Jerry.

They have nearly identical per-game playoff numbers - qb ratings in the 80s, 2:1 TD-INT ratio...the only difference is that Manning's team wins and he has more games under his belt for it.

Uhhh ok. ~CZ rolls eyes smiley~

The OL has been non-existent in Dallas for about 4 straight seasons now. He did nothing to correct the issue after they didn't even make the flight to Minnesota in 2009, and now it has only gotten worse.

12 of the 22 starters on this team are JAGs and they don't have the coaching to help them outperform their skill-set like the Niners had this season.

Our WRs and RBs are just about equal with NY's. Romo had no OL support, and no support from his defense after about week 10 of the season. Much different situations.

Also, you'd have to be fucking AWFUL, and I mean absolutely AWFUL to not be competitive in a playoff run where your D gives up 2 points, 20 points (at Lambeau against what's supposed to be an awesome offense), and then 17 points. Eli is good enough to not lose games like that for his team.

Romo's offense would have had to put up 30+ points in all three of the games that the Giants have played this postseason just to have chance at winning.

I don't mind that the fans are too dumb to realize this, but it's scary and sad that Jerry narrowed it down to QB play. He's spent about 15 years now ignoring the non-glamorous positions, and it clearly looks like nothing will change unless someone beats a little sense into him.

Oh...and Eli also did not have the worst center in the league (not an exaggeration...he was actually rated the worst center in the league possibly ever) attempting to block for him. Wanna know why?! Cuz he was too busy starting for Dallas.
