We haven't even played one preseason game yet, yet here is Jerry shooting his mouth off about UDFA's.

Sure wish he'd STFU about stuff like this. Absolutely no reason to point this out to the rest of the league. Why give them the idea that these are guys they should pay more attention to? If we try to sneak any of them on to the PS, there just might be somebody out there that has taken notice of them, and will put in a claim.

If he wants to toot his own horn about finding an UDFA gem, do it AFTER they make the final roster.

supposedly the team is high on linebacker alex albright. Richie whitt claims he was told the team loves him and they see him as a guy who could make the team and help...I think he said at inside linbebacker.....

the thing is A. Richie Whitt is a moron and I am not even sure he was talking about the right guy and B. Albright is 6-5 257 that seems way to big for an inside guy.

I heard mickey and brad sham mention him the other day also, so he must be a guy someone in the staff is talking about.

Tanner is opening eyes, but so is Lonyae Miller.

Dude, the Cowboys, nor any other team have "secret" players...every team in the league employs a multitude of scouts....there rarely (if ever) anymore is a player that everyone doesnt know about.

I'm also fairly certain teams send in advance scouts to teams' training camps.

lonyae miller has to be way ahead of tanner. Miller was active and played special teams down the stretch last year. There was alot of talk from archer, sham and others about how much they liked him. He has the tools. It would be great to hit on a guy like that.

I never said they were "secret" players, so you can leave that drama out. Just that there is no reason for Jerry bring added attention to them.

And scouts are not allowed at practice, as long as admission is not charged. Remember the Redskins fiasco of a few years back?
