On 105.3 the FAN moments ago....

Q) When will you play McGee?

A) At this junctor I wouldn't guess that. We're trying to win now, and Kitna gets us the best chance to win until Tony gets back.

Q) Will fans with negative signs be kicked out of Dallas stadium?

A) No. I've never done that. I've been criticized. The criticism is understandable, but we're going to get better. We disagree on how the team is structured (owner/gm/coach), and I understand the criticism. I take risks because of the expectations. The expectations is for Dallas to play and win a SB. We're coming right back at it, we'll play hard, and right the boat. A lot of teams are working hard to win a SB, and we'll put ourselves in position to win another one.

Q) I didn't know that BP solicitited you for the HC position.

A) Absolutely.

Q) But didn't you say you didn't have fun when BP was here.

A) No, I never said that. I enjoyed working with BP very much.

Q) Has any SB-winning coaches solicited you for the job since firing Wade?

A) Yes. I've had SB-winning coaches solicit me for this job even before firing Wade? :wha? There's not a problem hiring a coach. Each coach has his particular issues, but lets put it this way, no coach has ever turned down the offer to coach this team.

I'm pretty sure Terry Donahue did and we settled on Gailey.

Am I wrong on that?

Jerry is such a fucking dick. He's always trying to justify his failure of a tenure as GM.

The more this puke opens his mouth, the more I want to staple it shut. I don't know if it's just because he is the GM and the team is sucking ass. Or, I am just really getting annoyed whenever he speaks. I don't know.

Jerry Jones: Former Super Bowl coaches have already solicited him for the Cowboys job

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was quite blunt on his radio with KRLD-FM on Friday. He doesn't think he will have a problem finding the right guy for the head coaching job with the Cowboys whether its interim coach Jason Garrett or not.

Jones did not name names but he said several Super Bowl winning coaches have already solicited him for the Cowboys job and they did so before he fired Wade Phillips on Monday.

Jones said it was no different than in 2002 when Bill Parcells came to him as Dave Campo's crumbling tenure was ending.

"Bill Parcells came to me," Jones said. "He solicited the job completely. He solicited the job."

Asked if he would entertain the idea of hiring one of those Super Bowl coaches, Jones said "yes, the answer is yes."

Jones said it is wrong for anyone to think he can't work with high profile coaches or big egos, because he did with Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells.

He said he got along great with Parcells, despite the talk of him having to walk on egg shells in his own office. But Jones pointed out the Cowboys ultimately didn't win with Parcells and that's why Parcells left.

"I enjoyed working with Bill," Jones said. "What's fun is winning. We didn't win when Bill was here. We were all disappointed. He was disappointed. One reason he left early is we didn't win."

Jones said he is fond of Garrett and is rooting for him to turn things around and ultimately do enough to win the job.

Jones said he is reminded of the words of John Madden when it comes to talk of him needing a high profile coach.

"Madden said the Cowboys don't need a high profile coach, the Cowboys are high profile." Jones said. "He said the Cowboys need a good coach."

For those that question his ability to hire a good coach, Jones pointed to his last coaching search where six of the 11 candidates he interviewed became head coaches in the league. The list incluces Phillips, Norv Turner, Jim Caldwell, Mike Singletary, Todd Haley, Tony Sparano and Jim Caldwell.

He also pointed out that Garrett was offered and turned down three head coaching jobs since joining the Cowboys in 2007. Of course, it was known that Atlanta and Baltimore offered jobs to Garrett. But, according to Jones, Garrett was also offered the job in St. Louis.

"We were sniffing around in good areas," Jones said. "The coach we have today has been offered three head coaching jobs in the last three years. We are sniffing around the territory I know that."
