Bored and daydreaming of an improved Defense.

FA
Clinton McDonald DT 6-2/297 Age 27 Seattle Seahawks

Major Wright S 5-11/204 Age 25, Chicago Bears

Chad Rinehart G 6-5/321 Age 28, San Diego Chargers

**I went with 3 lesser names but key positions.

1(17) Aaron Donald, DT, 6-1/288 Pittsburgh - Has shot up draft boards, Cowboys aren't hiding their love for this kid.

2(48) Dee Ford, DE/LB, 6-2/243 Auburn - Cowboys never afraid to draft players not suited for their scheme. Ford will find a spot to play and improve the pass rush.

3(79) Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, 6-3/252 Georgia Tech - He reminds me of the Seahawks' linebackers. Physical, plays fast, and aggresive.

4(115) Jay Prosch, FB, 6-1/256 Auburn - Cowboys realize they need a fullback and get a good one. Basically a Guard who plays Fullback, pure blocker.

5(147) Antone Exum, CB/S, 6-0/220 Virginia Tech - Ideal Tampa 2 Cornerback, needs to get healthy.

7a(206) Max Bullough, MLB, 6-3/260 Michigan State - Off-field issues and weight gain push him to 7th. Solid back-up for Sean Lee.

7b(209) Matt Hall, T, 6-9/323 Belhaven - Raw project but great size. Cowboys have scouted him already.

7c(215) Viliami Moala, DT, 6-2/315 California - Might be the strongest player in this draft and was a 5-star recruit three years ago. I think whoever drafts him should consider moving him to Guard.

Like the first two picks. I've watched Attaochu quite a bit with him being local, very good player. Not sure he is an OLB in a 4-3 though. I could see him playing RDE like you have with the Ford pick here.

Ford and Attauchu will both be playmakers though, and we need playmakers on defense.

I think they have pills for that

Oh they've already come out with pills to treat Apathy caused by Jerry Jones?

Wow. That was quick. I need to see about getting some.

Same here and I even like Prosch.

I know it seems high but I think he's a sure thing and will be a starter. How often do we draft those in the 4th round? Actually, how often do our 4th round picks stay on the roster 2 years down the road? Even with the 2 TE and multiple WR sets, a Fullback is needed on the goal line and short yardage situations. We tried to get by with a linebacker (Kyle Bosworth) before signing the talentless Tyler Clutts. Give me the sure thing in Prosch. The 4th round is high normally for a fullback but to me, he's worth it. Moose was a 2nd rounder (different era) but he was a huge part of this team for 10 years.

That is the popular opinion.

I see him play and I think he can play OLB in a 4-3. He's all over the place and seems fluid(natural) in coverage. I'd try to use him the way the Seahawks use Bruce Irvin.

Where with Dee Ford, I know he's small (although he feels he can play at 265 if he needed to) but I would put him at DE. He is an established pass rusher and would give us the type of 4-3 bookend pass rushers the Colts once had with Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis.

watching the NFLPA game (from last Saturday) and J.C. Copeland (270 pound Fullback from LSU) is destroying people. I love Prosch but if you think you can get Copeland in the 5th or 6th that might be the better value.
