Janitoris Jenkins - At What Point?

Supposedly this dumbass admitted to smoking weed while at his JV school when asked about it at the combine.

No way in hell does someone take him in the first round.

But, at what point does his talent deserve a flyer?

I wouldn't go 2nd round but if he were there in the 3rd round I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better player who could contribute.

If he were there in the 4th, I think it's a no brainer. As stupid as he is and as risky as he is, if you can get him on a humble pie contract where he has to stay out of trouble you might be able to get a couple of good years out of him and then trade him for a nice pick.

No way in hell the dude can be considered a longterm option. He's gonna fuck up. Make no mistake, he's gonna fuck up.

I give it maybe 4 years before he fucks himself out of an NFL job and is the head custodian at the local McDonalds.

You guys take him at all? 3rd round? 4th?

Non-issue because I don't think he falls past the 2nd anyway - and I wouldn't touch him at the 2nd.

If we played at a po-dunk town like Green Bay, then the risk would be lowered.

But in a party town line Dallas, giving a young knucklehead like Jenkins millions of dollars when he's already shown horrid judgement is just a bad idea.

And this could turn out similar to Derek Ross. This kid could go on to have one hell of a rookie year, and then just be a turd and find himself out of the league in no time.

If players like Joe Adams, Josh Chapman and a few others are going to be around come the 4th round as I suspect, then I wouldn't touch him there either.

Give me hard working blue collar types who love football and who aren't retarded.

He wont be on our draft board. He wont be on alot of teams draft boards.

I absolutely wont be surprised if he is available on the 3rd day of the draft.

I wouldnt waste a pick in any round on him. He'll be suspended early and often IMO.
