James Picks Up A Blue Collar Honor

For a guy who has admittedly been hurt by Pro Bowl snubs in the past, this may not be much of a consolation, but middle linebacker Bradie James has earned a spot on at least one postseason superlative team.

On Wednesday, USA Today tabbed James to its All-Joe Team, meant to honor some of the league's best unsung heroes. Of James, the newspaper wrote:

"Provides lots of quotes and tackles (career-high 118), a good Pro Bowl recipe provided Dallas turns it around in 2011."

James led the Cowboys in tackles for the sixth straight season, and also had an interception and two fumble recoveries.

James is the Flozell Adams on defense. Where he had a pretty good career here and was never liked by the fans.

Pretty good isn't good enough. If we aren't winning the Super Bowl every year then we have failed. Brady James and his "pretty good" is one factor holding us back.

Concur. Never got the Bradie hate. Guy goes out and does his job year in and year out. He may not be Ray Lewis, but is an above average middle linebacker. I think him and Lee next year should make for a solid combo.

Yea! Everyone on the team must be a perennial pro bowl player or they can just get the hell out.

I like Bradie. Then I don't. I think maybe with a change of scenery, he will be better. Or.... he could not and we would have more to type about regarding him.
