He's looked average. I don't know how much of that is because of playing next to Nagy or what. Clearly it doesn't help.

Yeah, he has. I'd make the switch now to RT. He plays that position a lot better.

Then I'd move Tyron over to LT. If it doesn't work out then we need to find another legitimate LT in next years draft.

I still believe our offensive line with be moved around in anyway, shape, or form. It's a work in progress.

I think it's probably because of Nagy. I really think they should place Kowalski at Center and move Costa to LG. Kowalski is a better Center than Nagy is an LG. And I believe Costa would be a better LG than Nagy. It's about putting the best players on the field.

Free is struggling.

I've said he's better than what he's showed early this season, but now I'm starting to wonder. He was probably the best piece on a terrible line last year. Now he's having a rough time without the help of Kosier's veteran presence.

I'm kinda laughing out loud at all the guys that were calling Free a stud LT.

He's okay, probably better than what he's been early this season, but you have to hope that Tyron will be good enough to man that spot next year.

So, you'd move a rookie mid-season to the toughest spot on the OL, then if he struggles you'd basically wash your hands and "find another legitimate LT in next years draft." So what would you do then? Move him back to RT to replace Free, who we just re-signed longterm? Bench him?

C'mon, man. lol

I hope that Free is playing with some kind of injury because he's been terrible compared to last season.

trade free, romo and ware for picks to get luck?

Nice.

Free got his BIG contract so he may have toned it down a little, which would be unfortunate.

Those who mentioned playing next to Nagy may be on to someting but Free is losing one-on-one matches so he needs to step it up.

IMO we still need a starting Guard and a starting Center. Free, Smith, and Kosier will be/should be starters next year. If we get a veteran guard like Chilo Rachal or Ben Grubbs, we should move Kosier back to left guard.

It's dissapointing, no doubt. Having Nagy next to him is not really an excuse either because he has been getting beat to the edge or just bull rushed.

With who we replaced other linemen with could you imagine who would be at tackle if we let Free go?

That does not justify overspending on someone who does not project as a career starter.

So now Free is not a career starter?

Flozell looked much worse in stretches over his Career and Jake long has given up more sacks than Free has this year, lets try and have a little perspective at least.
