What kind of NFL career will each player have?

Don't give me I don't know, if this, as long as that.....

Stick your neck on the line and IE their careers.

Here's mine.

Tyron Smith - I don't know how this guy doesn't become a 10 plus year quality LT. It would have to be an injury situation. I've heard rumblings his work ethic isn't the best, but he's simply too gifted and too level headed to fail. 10 plus years. Multiple pro bowls. Maybe even an All Pro or two. Freak of nature.

Bruce Carter - A quality starting LB who never reaches his potential here because he's a better fit for a 4-3. Still good. Not great. If he ends up signing elsewhere in FA, he could take his game to another level.

DeMarco Murray - I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Murray shuts up the doubters and has a productive career in a two back rotation. What he needs is what he has here. A creative offensive mind to take advantage of his versatility. I believe in this pick. I don't see why he can't consistently produce in a league where backs are no longer asked to carry a heavy load. Maybe it's my Sooner homerism kicking in. DeMarco Murray will provide explosiveness to the Cowboys' offense.

David Arkin - Montrae Holland type. Spot starter. Probably a guy you ideally would want as the top backup at both G spots.

Josh Thomas - Orlando Scandrick but with inferior ball skills. Tough, hard nosed nickel CB who could probably start for a handful of teams running a cover 2 scheme. A one contract player here before signing elsewhere for more money than we're willing to spend.

Dwayne Harris - Davone Bess type. Productive backup WR and solid, not great, returner. My hope here is Harris develops into a nice safety valve for the QB. Always seeming to make the clutch play to extend drives. A guy who reaps the reward of all the attention being paid to the weapons around him. A pesky fly defenses can't seem to swat.

Shaun Chapas - Maybe he sticks for a year. I don't think he's for long after that. The position is near extinct, he's not an exceptional lead blocker to fill that niche, and he doesn't run well enough to be an effective H-back. He is a leader. He is tough. And he is smart. So I'll say he bounces around the league making his living on special teams.

Bill Nagy - I'll play the odds and say he manages to hold on for this year and gets released back to anonymity the following year. If Nagy didn't come from an OL factory like Wisconsin, I'd have no hope for him whatsoever.

You'd have to go back to 2005 to find me so positive on a draft class. Usually I'd be like "backup, bust, backup, bust,"....but I really can't see how we don't get multiple starters and at least a couple more productive role players from this class. With only 2 of the 8 picks projected to provide not much of anything. And even with those two, I couldn't rule it out like I usually could with our typical draft picks.

Injuries can always throw a wrench in the best laid plans, but that's how I project the 2011 Draft Class. Solid B grade. I think these negative evaluations are off the mark this year.

I don't think it's possible to play the ball any worse than Orlando Scandrick does. Or doesn't.

Tyron Smith - Really bugs me the team didn't trade down and hedge their bets with an extra 2nd round pick. That said what's done is done and I think this guy has potential. I just wish I didn't have to say that about the #9 pick overall. No one knows how he'll play with all that extra weight, whether his extra bench press reps from preparing for his pro-day will translate into better strength and a lower center of mass at the point of attack and whether all those changes to his body will negatively affect his ability to reach the second level by design, which was what stood out about him in college. He really is a boom or bust pick, and his success dictates the "grade" of this entire class.

Bruce Carter - Like the player, and think his injury will not be a factor by week 4. I worry about his long term fit as it leaves us with two undersized and quick ILBs. The 3-4 is good for one LB with that body type, but two of them compromises our physicality and increases chances for injuries. I think Carter will stick as long term starter and Lee will be the injury-prone bust. I doubt we ever have more than a single 5-game stretch with both players starting, effective, and healthy.

DeMarco Murray - 4th best RB in the draft. Hard to disagree with this pick in the 3rd round. He has the potential to contend for a starting role and that's what you want from your 3rd rounder. He immediately moves past Tashard Choice on the depth chart, but his longterm success will be determined by how well he listens to Mike Woicek.

David Arkin - Really like this guy and think he's athletic and mean enough to be a special player. I look forward to seeing him start in 2012 and providing quality depth immediately.

Josh Thomas - Good value for the 5th round. Dislike that he has no ball-skills, especially since we already have plenty of that with Newman and Scandrick. But still, like the pick and think he'll be a solid player for the next three seasons in Dallas.

Dwayne Harris - I like that he was clearly the goto guy at ECU and can also play special teams. He's a competitor who lived off short patterns and will greatly benefit from having star players taking heat off of him.

Shaun Chapas - Gotta be better than Gronkowski. Garrett says he's smart and coachable which gives me hope. With Murray and Jones being on the lighter side and Barber on the way out, Chapas might get more short-yardage carries and would complement the two more traditional tailbacks. I like Jones in short yardage and clearly Murray has a nose for the endzone if his OU career is any indication, but sometimes there's nothing like a battering ram when the defense knows what's coming.

Bill Nagy - I have to admit it is intriguing that Nagy would have started at Wisconsin until he got hurt. What we have to wonder is whether Garrett was doing his buddy Chryst a favor drafting this guy or he really has the inside scoup on Nagy's recovery from those most closely associated with him ala Tuna and Groh with Canty. Still, depth on the OL can't hurt and increases the odds of a fluke starter. My money's on Arkin among the kids on the team now.

Tyron Smith- He'll start from day one and be a starter 15 years from now. Hard worker as others have mentioned. Safest pick in the top 10, imo.

Bruce Carter- I like this pick too much. That scares me. I'm going to predict a K. Burnett type career in Dallas.

DeMarco Murray- A few days later and I am talking myself into liking the pick. The more I watch him in clips around the web, the more I think he can be a productive starter. At some point he takes the starting role away from Biakabatuka and never looks back. 4-6 year starter here. Why am I wanting to call him Darren McFadden?

David Arkin- Decent player, the kind you can get by with in your lineup for a year or two, but you're always looking to upgrade if possible.

Josh Thomas- Flame out. Practice squad type.

Dwayne Harris- Sam Hurd type hype by Mickey and Eatman for a few years. Never catches on.

Shaun Chappas- He'll get 2 years at this revolving door position. Yawn.

Bill Gagy- The type of player I like to see with a 7th round pick. I'm not dismissing this pick one bit. I think in two years we'll start to hear about how much the staff likes him and how he'll challenge for a starting spot along the line somewhere. I like his much more than I like the Arkin pick. I'll stick my neck out and say this guy starts more games in Dallas than Arkin.

Tyron Smith- 15 year starter, and potential Ring of Honor inductee, right about the time my sons are graduating from college.

Bruce Carter- 8-10 year starter. He and Lee team up to solidify our interior linebacking corps.

DeMarco Murray- One contract player. He'll tease us with flashes of brilliance, but ultimately will spend too much time injured or banged up to warrant a second contract. Will never eclipse 1100 yards rushinng.

David Arkin- Big ugly fixture on our line. Solid, not spectacular. We'll get at least 4-6 years of solid starting play out of him.

Josh Thomas- Will be talked about as a guy who has potential, but will never live up to it. No better than an inconsistant nickle guy.

Dwayne Harris- Will become somewhat of a security blanket for Romo. Won't dazzle you with measureables, nor scare defensive coordinators, but will have a knack for making those plays that ultimately have a significant outcome on games.

Shaun Chappas- Adequate starter for a number of years. As long as Garrett involves a fullback, Chappas should be his guy.

Bill Gagy- Practice squad, camp fodder.

1) Tyron Smith: Day one starter and major upgrade over Colombo, whether he plays LT and Free moves to RT, or whether they let Smith continue at RT for this year and mvoe him in the future.

2) Bruce Carter: Because of the ACL, even if he does play this yr his contributions might be small, but love the pick for the future and best case scenario this yr is he is close to 100% for the 2nd half of the season and upgrades the nickel/dime defense, in addition to being a stalwart on coverage teams. Should be a good duo with him and Lee at ILB for years to come.

3) Demarco Murray: Will make Barber and Choice both expendable. Should have a a solid role this yr splitting time with Jones. With his receiving skill could be a significant factor on 3rd downs.

4) David Arkin: Probably inactive this yr, but should compete for a job next yr and could become a dependable starter

5) Josh Thomas: Probably never more than an nickel/dime DB, but should also be able to readily contribute on special teams. Could be the eveentual replacement for Scandrick if/when he leaves

6) Dwayne Harris: Will be a standout return guy, could evolve into a very good 3rd WR

7) Shaun Chapas: Will be the teams FB for years to come. Quality blocker will help the run game, especially in short yardage and GL situations. Will also catch some passes out of the backfield and give the offense more flexibility when he's in as opposed to guys like Deon Anderson, Lousaka Polite etc etc

7) Bill Nagy: Probably a career backup and maybe a spot player if someone is injured. Probably best case for him is to eventually become a swing backup interior OL on game days.

Tyron Smith--Solid starter for years. Never great, sometimes frustrating, but a guy we will miss when he is gone.
Bruce Carter--Solid reserve for a few seasons, then a solid starter. Nothing special. Not a game changer. Bradie James type.
DeMarco Murray--I think he is the top of the depth chart in two years.
David Arkin--Eventual starter that we complain about how we want replaced.
Josh Thomas--4th corner, special teamer. Will make occasional play to cement himself into the "Back-up is always better" philosophy.
Dwayne Harris--Makes Roy Dub expendable.
Shaun Chapa--Instant fan favorite. Gone in three years, off to the Fullback graveyard with Cricket Anderson, Jamar Martin, and Lousaka Polite.
Bill "The Thrill" Nagy--Hall. Of. Greatness. Better than the hof.

1) Tyron Smith: Starter on the right side of the offensive line from training camp on. Along with Doug Free, the offensive tackle position is solidified for the next 6 seasons. Smith himself plays in the NFL until his mid-30's garnering several visits to the Pro-Bowl.

2) Bruce Carter: Is brought along sparingly the first half of the season. The second half sees him getting more time in the Cowboy's nickel and is considered a starting ILB for the 2012 season. From there he plays another 7 seasons for the Cowboys. Not quite a Pro-bowl performer he's consistent rather than flashy.

3) Demarco Murray: A one contract player. His receiving skills are considered good, but his running skills are never a threat to Felix Jones. He leaves after his initial contract in order to be a starter for another team.

4) David Arkin: Surprises in camp. Is activated for the majority of the Cowboy games and even starts one or two due to injuries. Is the starter in 2012 and mans the position for the next 8 seasons. A good but not exceptional career.

5) Josh Thomas: Starts slowly but displaces Alan Ball as the teams 4th corner. Gets some playing time, but becomes the team's 3rd corner in 2013, after Terrance Newman is released. Stays with the team another two seasons and them becomes a free agent.

6) Dwayne Harris: Stuck behind the existing depth at WR, plays sparingly in 2011. Becomes the teams third WR in 2012 after the release of Roy Williams. Plays a three more seasons as a Dallas Cowboy and becomes a free agent.

7) Shaun Chapas: Starting FB for two seasons and is then released.

7) Bill Nagy: A practice squader in 2011, but impresses the team with his tenacity.
