I'm devastated as a Cowboys fan..

We are officially done this season. Romo is probably done for the year and our offensive line won't be able to protect Kitna.

What I saw last night was a team that quit on it's coach. The only player that has played with any heart on this team is Dez Bryant. The guy is a freak and will continue to give defenses fits. Being 1-5 is too hard of a hole to come out of and we need to start thinking about next year.

I know a few fans will say Kitna can do a good job for us, but I totally disagree because Tony hid a lot of the flaws we had on the offensive line. Kitna has no mobility and doesn't have what it takes to win a championship in this league, that's why he's a backup.

You would of thought our defense would have picked up the slack last night, but instead they quit on us and gave up over 500 total yards of offense. And we forced what 4 turnovers and still found a way to lose the damn game. Ridiculous. I see no reason to keep Wade Phillips here anymore, if we were playing better defense then I wouldn't be saying this right now.

Jerry better swallow that big ego of his and either bring in another disciplinary coach and one who can help draft better offensive linemen. Let's face it this line sucks and we can't run the football or pass protect to save our lives. And as far the defensive scheme goes why the hell do we have the safeties covering Nicks?

I know Scandrick had covered him once, and he's been another problem that we need to address. I think we need two new safeties and another nickel corner. I know some fans are also down on Jenkins a bit but I don't see him as a problem.

We have a lot of good players on this team guys like Ware, Ratliff, Jenkins, Newman and so on so why can't we pressure the quarterback and get more sacks. This team should at least be good on defense with the talent we have here. I blame Wade for the way the defense is playing. He's in charge of it.

My focus is now on the draft because this team is done this year.

I don't believe the defense gave up, we were just out coached. The Giants knew exactly how to beat us on offense and defense and took advantage of every single flaw we have. Our defense almost saved themselves by making 5 turnovers but it wasn't enough to get the job done.

I'll concede that I'm a homer. I enjoy it.

I've gone into every season since 2005 thinking this Cowboys team could be serious Super Bowl contenders.

You look at the individual talent the Chargers and Cowboys have had in recent memory . . . for neither to be in or win a Super Bowl is sickening.

It's a testament to how incredibly important coaching and preparation are to teams.

I'll give my 1 cent worth, I won't give my 2 cents since not one player on the Cowboys has given his all this year.

OL- Complete Shambles. Has to go... Gurode, L. Davis and Columbo all three are a total waste of roster space. Since our season is over anyway, I'm starting Costa at C. Bright and Kosier at G and Free and Young at T. I'm bringing Brewster back and letting him play G until Kosier gets better. Barron and Brewster/Kosier will backup. Wouldn't mind seeing Herman Johnson claimed off Arizona practice squad
TE- Keeping Witten and starting Bennett in a double TE base offense. Dropping Gronkowski and no FB on roster. Chandler stays as backup, and claiming Chase Coffman as another backup.
WR- Bryant and Williams start, M. Austin goes back to 3rd wideout until he can figure out how to actually catch a pass!!! Hurd stays due to special teams play, Ogletree well really who cares?
RB- Does it really matter with our present OL? Keep all three and pray they don't get killed...
QB- START MCGEE keep Kitna as backup for first 5 games then put in Nate Davis whom we claim off 49ers practice squad

DL- Ratliff stays, Hatcher and Bowen start at de (has Spears or O done anything this year?) Price as top backup and Lissmore active too.
LB- BROOKING AND JAMES TO BENCH. Those two haven't done squat this season. Lee and Butler inside (I know he's an outside backer, but why not give him a shot?) Ware and Spencer stay at starters. Williams, Brandon, Leon and James can backup
DB- JUST BLOW UP THE WHOLE THING. THIS UNIT IS TOTALLY PATHETIC. BENCH ALL 4. Bring up McCann and AOA at corner and Church and McCray at S. None of our current starters can cover or tackle? Geez, worst defensive unit in the entire NFL, hands down!!!!!

Defense outcoached? To some degree, maybe.

But, put the blame and fault where it is due. The fucking defensive players that stunk up the place. 20-7 , Romo goes down. Time the defense, especially a "great" or "special" defense as "most" think to step up, put it on their shoulders and carry this team. Didn't happen. And "this" is supposed to be a championship quality team? Not even close. And they are far from it. And have been on defense. It is just more smoke and mirrors from this team and Jerry. There are problems on both sides of the ball. And the defense showed a lot last night. Now, of course, in their "defense", as the blind bias fucks will say. "they were out on the field a long time" blah blah blah. There was the opportunity to take the next level, and they failed.

It is time now to evaluate players.....Let the youngins play as well. See who to keep and who to get rid of.

Worse than that. ! How many teams play zone in the red zone? The Giants and other teams would be on our 12 yard line and our CBs would be 10 yards off.
