Igor Olshansky criticizes Cowboys offense

In our first Cowboys post of the day, wide receiver Roy Williams showed that he has a tenuous relationship with reality. Defensive end Igor Olshansky seems more on this Earth.
Olshansky went off this week about offensive coordinator Jason Garrett's playcalling.
"Don't give the ball away," Olshansky said on ESPN 103.3 FM this week per Matt Mosley of ESPN.com's NFC Beast blog. "I mean, there's a lot of things that can go wrong when you pass the ball. You can get sacked, the ball can get tipped, you can get an interception. If you run the ball, you can get tackled and get a forced fumble. See, there's a lot more things [that can go wrong on pass plays]. ... You've got to run the ball."
Olshansky thinks the mindset to throw all the time is ingrained in the team.
"You've got to be stubborn about it," said Olshansky. "You've got to be stubborn about who you are. If you're a running team, run the ball in OTAs, minicamp, training camp and all that."
The Cowboys are not in the top ten in the NFL in giveaways, so turnovers is only one of their problems. They are 25th in takeaways and 31st in rushing.
Olshansky is right to a point, but there is plenty of blame to go around, including on the Dallas defense.
