This is like the 4th time off the top of my head romo has been sacked this season by his facemask or has taken a blow to the head. Never gets a flag. Its really irritating and this play in particular sunday just really pissed me off. 3rd and 5 at the 50 4th qtr.

SHould have been first and 10 at the arizona 35 after this play. Which would have been field goal. Which we could have called timeout to ice bailey and miss anyway....but I am still going to vent on this play.

Romo sacked clearly by the facemask at the hands of clark haggans. Walt colemans primary job is to watch for this exact thing and he tells romo no it didnt happen. Romo gets up like what the hell? Coleman shakes his head no didnt happen.

This needs to stop. Jay ratliff on the next posession had a free run at kolb on third down and was tackled out in the open and no flag there from coleman either. Blatant crucial penalties and no call.

I've never been one to bitch about the refs either, but this year has been bad.

I think I read somewhere that something like 5 of our opponents have had their season low for penalties per game against us. Including the Jets who had 0 penalties in week one.

That's an amazing coincidence.

Here is the hold on ratliff, video in a few. Again, its the next posession, right in front of walt coleman.

Ratliff beats the right guard and is about to have a direct line to kolb on a 3rd and 16 and he just gets tackled. No flag from coleman. The radio broadcast claimed the sideline and ratliff were livid about this play.

Huge sequence in a tight game, changed field position dramatically.

That Ratliff hold pissed me off so fucking much. I am angry all over again. The refs didn't help us very much, but the loss is still all on ginger fuck.

Never cared for Jerry Markbreit. He took such pleasure in calling penalties against us.

I lost my shit during that sack. I thought for a second I was gonna be kicked out of the bar. I'm like some of you, I hate complaining about the refs, but this year has been awful. Especially when it comes to Romo taking illegal hits.

You read that here, I posted the info. Its true.

And yes, the play on Romo Theebs was referring too was an easy call and was just ignored. No way one of those officials failed to see it.

Yep, and they pulled that exact same move on him earlier in the game, it wasnt called then either.

Ware and Ratliff are both held like there's no tomorrow and its rarely called.

the kicker dbair is the cameras view there of romo from the replay is almost the exact view walt coleman has.

Absolutely inexcusable. that is his direct job, watch the qb for illegal hits....

plain as day no call. Cost us points most likely.

Are the garrett brothers not even sending tape to the league to bitch about this? I would hope so...

Not for nothing they still refer to Coleman as "Blind Walt'on the Patsies boards, having made the famous 'tuck rule' call in the Patsies playoff game against Da Raiders.

Well during this past offseason, oen of the changes made was that refs would be placed strategically to where they would have a better vantage point to witness these kind of plays and thereby make better calls. So you are right, they are ignoring them.
