It went up my ass like a hot roofing nail then I thought of Rob Ryan's confused mug and nearly became ill.
There's nothing like waking up depressed an defeated before you even get in the shower .

What a sickening day this has been , did they really blow a two score lead with 3 n change left.? Really ?? Again!?

I took a vacation day today. Expected it to be a happy Monday where I'd sit on my ass, re-watch the game, update the NFC Playoff Tracker thread, and just enjoy.

But we suck.

So.... I'm actually having a better day because I decided to keep my sons home, and I've been playing with them.

I'm glad losses don't piss me off like they used to. That loss to Washington in 2006 (I think) where Sean Taylor blocked the field goal and returned it for Novak to kick a 50 yarder and win... that ruined me for almost a week. This loss, if my mindset is what it used to be, would've had the same effect.

But since I've gained perspective, I don't even care anymore.

We're just not a good team. .500 squad with glaring wholes bad coaching, and a horrid owner.

I think the Skins pull off an upset this weekend and beat the Giants.

Hopefully they do. What would be great is knowing we beat Tampa Bay already. I'd hate to lose and then the Giants win on Sunday.

We would definitely have no shot at the division title then.

I don't see it. I'd love it, but I don't see it.

I think they (Redskins) played over their heads yesterday against a bad defense.

Mind you, I know the Giants defense isn't that great, but they have a defensive line that will expose the loss of Davis and Williams. New England couldn't do that yesterday.

The good news is, it really doesn't matter if the Giants lose next week or not. It would still come down to the week 17 game against us for the division. If they lose against the Jets or Redskins, but beat us, they're in. (duplicate 9-7 record but would own tie-breaker).

I think. Could be wrong. I don't think we get to the playoffs, so I haven't looked at it.
