talking to broaddus and bill jones on twitter, clearly, nothing official or set in stone..but they both feel as if it appears dallas wont be taking decasto even if available..they BOTH also told me that it is definitely possible that nothing will be done at center either and that costa and nagy will be competing for the starting job...

again, these guys may or may not be tuned in to exactly what our plans are..but what if this were to happen..

holy hell is our fan base going to be pissed

I'd most likely have to take the news the same way I always do. Knowing I can't do a thing about it, just go on with my life knowing that a man owns the team and won't do anything bad to them if he can help it.

I'd be pissed.

I think Dallas has to get a C in the draft or free agency. Somewhere, there has to be a C available.

Letting Costa try out again would be a joke after last years disaster.

The G situation is only moderately better than last year, maybe. C has to be upgraded.

If Dallas passes on DeCastro and takes a guy who they want to groom to replace Spencer, I'll lose a good amount of the faith I have left in their ability to manage a team.

If DeCastro is the BPA you take him regardless. You want to improve your football team in every way you can.

If they reach on pick 14 someone needs a punch in the nuts.

This OLine is NOT upgraded. I would be extremely pissed if we passed on DeCastro. Especially after hearing that he would play C if thats where he is needed.

As of right now he's probably going to be the best player available at 14.. I don't care about how deep the draft is at G or if its too early to take one. If you have a shot at a future All-Pro at #14 you take him.
