Through 7 games he has 12 sacks - 1.7 per game. That puts him on pace for 27.4 sacks. Will he end up with that many?

looking at the schedule, the seattle-arizona-miami games look like games where he could get multiple sacks.

he could come out of those three games with 4-7 sacks alone. If he gets two this week he is going to be hard to keep from that record.

I'm geussing between 23 and 25...

Assuming he keeps tearing up and maybe DPOY.

I think I read somewhere that if he ends up with 20 again, he'd be the first player since sacks became official to notch two 20+ sack seasons.

I think he slows down as the season wears on, unfortunately.

He'll probably end the year right at 20.5 or 21. Close enough to make it interesting, but like with most things Cowboys related, we'll end up disappointed in the end.

He definitely would benefit from some other guys stepping up and doing something in the pass rush. Spencer has disappeared again, and Butler has only made one or two plays when he's been out there.

Looking more and more like OLB is going to be a major priority next year either in free agency or the draft.

This is true. I was about to mention the same thing. It's already quite a feat that he hasn't had a single-sack season since his rookie year.

Spencer has been in coverage on passing downs Butler has been given the rushing duties. with Lee out I expect he will be in coverage even more.

The way we're performing, what position won't be a major priority? ha.

He's definitely the model of consistency.

IMO he should already have 2 DPOY of the awards, maybe this will finally be the year he gets it.
