Hatcher is playing on a historically bad defense ... one of the worst defenses of all times.

Hatcher's defense is the photo negative of the 85 Bears.

This is a "perfect storm" scenario.

It takes a total team effort to achieve such an epic level of incompetence. There must be a very bad GM, poor coaching, significantly sub-average talent, and bad luck with injuries. It takes all of these elements to achieve such utter haplessness.

I can't even have an opinion on Garrett himself. Who know's what he'd be like if he didn't have that clown with his plug and play coaching hires? Not to mention his inability to put together a complete team.
