Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks had his knee evaluated Monday after suffering an injury in Sunday's 28-14 loss to the Washington Redskins according to Zach Berman of the Newark Star-Ledger. Coach Tom Coughlin did not know the severity of the injury or if Nicks will miss any time.
"We know that he has some type of injury there," Coughlin said. "Don't know what it is or to what extent."
The news might not be bad, though. Seen outside of the team facility, Nicks gave a thumb's up. The injury is a "bone bruise at worst," according to someone informed of the injury who requested anonymity because no announcement has been made.
