According to Jim Varney of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, perhaps the most publicized aspect of the Saints-Vikings game has been whether the Saints will deliver the same beating to Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre that they did in the 2009 NFC championship game, and whether the Vikings will seek their own sort of payback in the way they attack Drew Brees.

Vikings Coach Brad Childress has done little to deter such speculation, accusing the Saints' defense of operating in a less than kosher manner last January. But when a reporter from Minnesota broached the topic Wednesday, Williams brushed it aside before it was finished.

"Nah," he said, "Brad and I are friends and all that stuff. Brad has to say what he has to say for his own team."

The Saints' defense will play with a ferocious attitude and offer no apologies, Williams said, noting that is essentially his job description.

"The No. 1 criteria when I was hired here by Sean was about changing the attitude of how we play defense here, " he said. "Our players are going to play hard and always are going to play hard. If they don't, they're going to stand by me."

If that defense do not get turnovers like they did last year, then that team will struggle.

My error, I meant to say I'm not worried about their D....I'm more worried about Brees and the O...My badd

I'm not. Same formula as last year. Rush him. One of the reasons why the Colts lost to the Saints because they were not able to get pressure on Brees. You can't just send one player at Brees, especially one that was a gimp (Freeney). The Cowboys have 3 pass rushers: Ratliff, Ware, and Spencer, and four with the blitzing Brookings or James or a CB/Safety. The Saints after that game kept referring to the Cowboys and how it was a wake up call and how they learned from that. Believe me, the Saints did not want to face the Cowboys in that NFC Championship.

You remember how Sean Payton abused the Cowboys when Parcells was the coach? Becuase he knew Parcells inside out. Different story with Wade.
