The huddle report tracks accuracy every year from all these guys. There are years where Goose is one of the most accurate and there are years where he's not.

I've also seen the report that shows a running total, the last one I saw was for a 10yr period and he had the highest % of players drafted in the top-100 of any of the draft "guru's", and there were about 10 or so he was compared to.

I think Gosselin is a boob on about everything else, but wherever and whomever he is talking to to get his draft info, its pretty good.

sbk is right though, last year his mock draft came in 8th, but he does have the highest average 5 years running.

I still say that since Jerry Jones and Goose are the only 2 yahoo's in the universe that had Robert Brewster in their personal Top 100 that they are both officially morons.

Edit:
Jerry has been an official moron since the second he fired..errr...allowed Jimmy to leave.

Yeah, he's one of the most accurate, just not always at the top.

You should check out the huddle report for that. It's pretty interesting to see how the guys stack up over the years.

No question that you should listen to Goose. Especially his day before mock that he does. It's almost like a cheat sheet for the actual first round most years.

The thing is, if Brewster was in Goose's top 100, then that had to come from NFL people. He doesn't do his own scouting. I'm pretty sure his lists are just a collection of opinions he gets from around the league.

its not his mocks I was talking about

its his top-100...he consistently has the highest% of his top 100 go in the top 100

That is correct.
