“@roderickdouthit: what's up with Wilber? He's been inactive and we need LBs desperately.” Hasn't played with awareness or strength at all.

I hated that pick when it happened. Then he supposedly looked great in training camp. Better 4-3 fit in my opinion

You can definitely see it on the field. It's glaring enough to notice it when he's only getting 2 or 3 snaps, how lost he is out there.
He's running around getting sealed off left and right.

Claiborn and Hanna seem like the only two that'll be worth a shat from this draft class. Crawford as well but he needs some seasoning.

It's early, but Wilbur seems lost, Johnson is made of glass, Caleb McSurdy has a retarded last name and already has to overcome a ruptured achilles, and Danny Coale was very underwhelming and got no sniffs from other teams after we cut him.

I hated the pick as well AND STILL hate the pick. Looked like Jerry didn't get enough of the 2009 draft and wanted to do an almost encore. If we were going to go OLB, why not Jonathan Massaquoi from Troy?

I'm still holding out for Johnson, but Hanna, and Crawford and of course Claiborne were all solid picks.

Pssh, being a RKG is way more important than those things.

pick could have been Brandon Boykin or Josh Chapman.

We get too cute in Round 4. Draft the best player, there's always good players to be had in Round 4. Instead, we get a tweener linebacker with no strength and a "hard-hitting" safety with a history of injuries and concussions.

Josh Chapman would have been a good pickup. I don't mind the Matt Johnson pick. I wouldn't say he had a history of injury. He was injured once and he played with that injury. But you are right with the cute shit.

Go back a couple of years and the Cowboys could have used their 4th rounder on Kam Chancellor---I wanted him for the Cowboys so bad, who ended up going to the Seahawks---funny as to how the Seahawks end up with players that the Cowboys should have gotten (Unger, Kam, just to name two) and look at them now; but anyway guess who we took with our 4th? Good ol' AOA, a CB from a tiny school---Division II, and tried to convert him into a safety.

I would just love to know who are the fucking scouts are, particularly for the OL and safety positions, and try to understand their grading methods for players. David Arkin? SHIT. And he'll be off the team by this next offseason.

I know this defies Hostile's Jerry isn't really in charge motto but Jones overrides the scouts, especially with "project" players. My biggest gripe with the scouts is not having the pride or fortitude to stand up for themselves and call out Jerry for his BS. I get that he's the boss and signs their checks but you better hope this job lasts forever since no one else is going to want to hire or promote you.

Those who have questioned Jones philosophy in the past have been removed so I get that it's really hard to say something. I just don't get how or why you'd allow yourself to be associated with this crappy drafting.

Josh Chapman, Brandon Boykin, and Joe Adams were my 2011 draft man crushes.

We could've had any of them in the fourth. AND WE LETEM OFF THE HOOK!

Fuckin Wilbur and Johnson.

Ok that wouldn't really be a problem within itself, if the scouts didn't present shit players for Jerry to override them in the first place. Jerry's not the one that is doing the actual scouting; these scouts are the ones that are brining these players to Jerry's attention.

Shouldn't the scouts have an understanding of what player Jerry goes for, and then try to avoid that player(s) and present him with a better crop?

4th seems to be the Dallas gamble round. Smaller school guys, guys with crazy athleticism, etc
