Gonna be a bidding war for Johnny Manzel

Speaking Thursday morning on the Dan Patrick Show, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that in addition to the St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, the Eagles and Chip Kelly have "looked hard" at Manziel, Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media reports.

It isn't clear at what point Schefter is saying the Eagles looked hard at Manziel -- whether it was at some point this season or during the 2014 NFL Draft.

If the Eagles had interest in Manziel during the draft, they certainly didn't act on it, as they were on the clock with Manziel on the board at No. 20, but decided to trade down and draft outside linebacker Marcus Smith
