From the rumor mill- lockout ends Sunday

Thats the rumor of the day, that several teams are preparing for the start of the new league yr beginning Sunday July 10th.

Have no idea if its true, guess we shall see.

According to Rich Tandler of Realredskins.com, there is talk in the Redskins organization that there will be a labor resolution this week and that the lockout will end Sunday.

That’s this Sunday, July 10.

That is quicker than most believe the situation will be resolved. Given all of the legal procedures that must take place after the two sides in the labor dispute agree to terms perhaps that is an overly optimistic timetable.
However, that is the date being discussed at Redskins Park.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

Seems like for every bit of potential good news, there's a shit ton of negative news pointing the other way not too long after.

I bet we'll see at least one more wave of negative news about the lockout issue before it's all over.
