I must admit I havent studied this guys website much, but I found a link to it on another site and went through it. There's some interesting stuff there.

Dallas: Three performances of note

Left tackle Doug Free (+4.3) had his best game of the year against the Eagles. Free’s performance is a perfect example of how to play LT in the NFL. He allowed just one pressure in 42 dropbacks (+1.5 rating in pass protection) but was at this best in the ground game (+2.4), beating up especially on backup DRE Daryl Tapp.

Doug Free is one of those guys where people have to tell you he's actually playing well. Like they did with Newman over the years. Trust me, I know you don't see it, but check out these numbers.

He sucks. He's an embarrassment as a franchise LT. Only an idiot fan base beaten down for two decades by Jerry Jones would be willing to accept this bum as the future of such an important position.

Free's problem is that he's inconsistent. Which can be expected from a guy starting for the 1st time at LT.

Not if he's an legit LT.

I'd draft Solder and put Free back at RT. I believe he can make a solid RT for us.

Now that's if Solder is the best available at that time because he is climbing the draft boards.
